Consistency rule calculator
Use this consistency rule calculator to see whether your best day is small enough next to your total profit. If it isn't, it also shows how much extra profit you need.
Test a consistency rule
The way a consistency rule works
Plenty of prop firms cap how much profit any one day of yours can produce. When your total profit is $1,000, a 40% rule caps any single day at $400. If your best day is $600, total profit has to reach $1,500 before you pass or ask for a payout.
That best-day share of total profit is what the calculator measures. Other firms, though, compare the best day with the profit target or with one payout period, so check the wording your firm uses below first.
Consistency rules for each firm
| Firm | What the firm says |
|---|---|
| Alpha Capital Group | For on-demand payouts, the best-day rule is 40% (15% on Alpha Direct), and a minimum profit requirement applies too. Bi-weekly schedules are not subject to the best-day rule. |
| Alpha Futures | Zero evaluations have no consistency rule. For Standard the figure is 50%, and Advanced 40% applies too. On a Qualified account, Zero and Standard use a 40% rule, Direct 20%, and Advanced has none. |
| Apex Trader Funding | The evaluation has no consistency rule. For accounts, Performance Limits set one profitable day at less than 50% of profits earned since the last payout approved for you. |
| Aqua Futures | Flex applies a 50% consistency rule to the challenge only, and the funded account has no consistency rule. |
| AquaFunded | With CFD Flex, your best trading day must stay at or below 20% of total profit. The futures model sets a consistency rule, and a single day may not take more than its set share of total profit. |
| Audacity Capital | No consistency rule on any program. |
| Blue Guardian | Standard futures has no consistency rule during the evaluation, and funded accounts follow a 40% rule. Direct futures starts at 20% and rises to 25%, then 30% for later payouts. |
| BluSky Trading | Launch evaluations apply a 50% consistency rule, Propel applies 34%, and the Buffer stage is also 34%. Orbit evaluations don't have a consistency rule. |
| BrightFunded | CFD plans carry no consistency rules. Futures plans list a 40% consistency rule during evaluation only, and none after funding. |
| City Traders Imperium | The 2-Step page states that no consistency requirements apply. To scale, Instant Funding needs a 20% consistency score. |
| Crypto Fund Trader | On a Break funded account, a single day may not exceed 40% of total profits, and the check happens only when you request a payout. |
| DayTraders.com | The limit is 50% during evaluation and 30% while funded, so no single day dominates your total profits. |
| E8 Markets | A 40% best day rule applies to E8 One and a 35% best day rule to E8 Signature, so no single day may go beyond that share of total profit. |
| Elite Trader Funding | The 1-Step evaluation states no consistency rule. Counting as Active Trade Days takes $250 realized profit on Elite reward days and 30% or more of your best day. |
| FTMO | Futures Evaluation caps the best day at 40% of total profit on Growth, and at 50% on Pro. Sim-Funded futures accounts have no consistency rule. |
| FTUK | The evaluation has no consistency rule. For funded accounts, the best day must stay under 20% of the profit you request at the first level, and that limit rises to 40% as you scale. |
| Funded Futures Family | Rules differ from plan to plan. Prime has no evaluation rule, but funded payouts use 40%. Velocity 40% and S2F 25% also apply; Premier+ has none for accounts purchased before September 9, 2026, and 40% from that date onward. |
| Funded Futures Network | In the 50K evaluation, a 40% consistency rule applies. Funded payouts for OG and Standard MAX accounts must stay within 40%, while Express MAX accounts stay within 25%. The limit resets per account after each payout. |
| Funded Trading Plus | In the 2-Step Classic challenge, the consistency score is 35%, and the funded account uses 50%. Neither Instant Funding nor 1-Step lists a consistency rule. |
| FundedNext Futures | A 40% rule applies to the Flex challenge phase, while the funded account carries none. The Rapid Pro funded account runs on a 40% rule, Rapid Daily on none, and Direct on a 20% perpetual rule. |
| Funding Traders | Funded accounts under 1-Step Pro must keep their largest profit day at 50% of total profit or less. Neither 2-Step PRO6 nor PRO10 has a consistency requirement. The figure for Instant accounts is 15%. |
| FundingPips | A 35% consistency score applies to 2 Step Standard, and only during the On Demand reward cycle. That rule doesn't apply to Weekly or Bi-Weekly cycles. |
| FundYourFX | None of the programs described has consistency or lot-size restrictions. |
| FXIFY | No consistency rule applies to Two Phase Classic. A 25% consistency rule applies to Crypto Instant Funding. |
| Goat Funded Trader | Goat 1$ limits the best day to 15% of period profit; for Pay Later funded accounts purchased recently, the cap is 30%. No consistency rule applies to the 2-Step model. |
| Hola Prime | On-demand payouts call for a consistency score of 40% or less. Your biggest winning day therefore can't exceed 40% of total profit. A 35% limit applies to futures payouts. |
| Lark Funding | As the firm puts it, zero consistency rules apply and no minimum trading days are required. |
| Leeloo Trading | The 30% rule caps daily profits in a Performance Account: they should not go above 30% of net profit measured from the starting balance. Flipping days should account for fewer than 5% of trading days. |
| Legends Trading | The homepage describes a 30% consistency rule under which excess profit is adjusted, and no deactivation or penalty applies. The 25k Elite plan lists 40%, while the 50k Apprentice lists none. |
| Lucid Trading | A 40% consistency rule applies to a LucidFlex evaluation; the add-on raises the figure to 50%. Under LucidPro funded payouts, your largest day can't be above 40% of cycle profit. |
| Maven Trading | Neither Standard 1 Step nor 2 Step has a consistency score. Each phase and each funded payout cycle in the 2 Step requires 3 profitable days, each worth at least 0.5%. |
| Ment Funding | Forex accounts from $25K to $1M have no consistency rule. A 35% consistency requirement applies to Funded accounts above $1M. |
| MyFundedFutures | The 50% consistency rule applies to the evaluation only, and funded Rapid and Pro accounts have none. |
| OneUp Trader | The evaluation alone requires this: your three next best trading days must add up to 80% or more of the net profit from your largest day. Funded accounts are not subject to it. |
| Phidias | Only Fundamental and Premium CASH accounts have a 30% consistency rule, and a single day may not go beyond 30% of total profit. No consistency rule applies to Express to Live. |
| Take Profit Trader | Tests require 50% profit consistency, while funded accounts have no such requirement. |
| The Trading Pit | Before a payout, Futures Instant asks that your biggest profitable day stay under 20% of total profit. If a CFD 1-Phase $100K/$200K account was created after 5 July 2026, a 50% consistency rule applies. |
| The5ers | A 50% rule applies to both the evaluation and funded stages of the 1-Step. The 2-Step applies it only after funding, so no single day may exceed 50% of total profit. |
| ThinkCapital | Bolt caps the best day at 20%, so one day may not make up more than 20% of total profits. |
| Top One Futures | Elite ACCESS sets no consistency rule for the evaluation, but funded accounts follow a 40% rule, meaning the largest winning day can't be more than 40% of profits in the payout cycle. |
| Topstep | The Combine asks you to keep your best single day under 55% of the target profit. Under the XFA Consistency payout path, your best day is capped at 40% of total net profit. |
| Trade The Pool | During evaluation, your best position is capped at either 50% (FLEX) or 30% (MAX) of the target profit. Minimum position counts apply as well. |
| TradeDay | A 30% consistency rule is listed for the 25k evaluation, while the funded sim account has none. |
| Tradeify | Select Evaluation caps any single day at 40% of your profit, and a 50% add-on is available if you want it. Growth Funded sets the figure at 35%. Lightning Funded has three levels: 20%, 25%, then 30%. |
| UProfit | The Day programs page and Flex policy require your best trading day to remain under 40% of total profit. The Day payout policy sets 30%, while the ONE 50K evaluation sets 50%. |
