Rules that apply
- Drawdown
- For the 2-Step Challenge, max loss is 10% and max daily loss is 5%. For Futures, the max drawdown trails at the end of each day and locks at the starting balance once it reaches it.
- Rule on consistency
- Under Futures Evaluation, your best day must be no more than 40% of total profit on Growth, and no more than 50% on Pro. Sim-Funded futures accounts have no consistency rule.
- Trading on news
- Only Standard accounts face news restrictions, and only once they are on an FTMO Account, never during the Evaluation Process. There are no news restrictions for Swing accounts. The Futures page lists news trading as allowed.
- Limit on accounts
- With Futures, you can run unlimited Evaluations and hold at once no more than three Sim-Funded Accounts across Growth and Pro.
- Holding overnight and over the weekend
- Only Standard accounts on an FTMO Account face limits for overnight and weekend holding, and those limits don't apply in the Evaluation Process. There are no such restrictions for Swing accounts.
One try at the smallest size costs €89 to get funded. Work out the cost for more tries.
