Trading rules from Tradeify
- Drawdown
- Every evaluation and funded account has a trailing drawdown. At each day’s close, net liquidation value determines the amount, which is enforced in real time. A Funded account reaches the drawdown lock when your balance goes beyond the starting balance, drawdown and $100 combined.
- Consistency requirements
- Select Evaluation limits any single day to 40% of your profit, with an optional 50% add-on. For Growth Funded, the figure is 35%. Lightning Funded sets three stages: 20%, 25%, then 30%.
- Trading on news
- It’s allowed on every account without limits, and you bear the risk.
- HFT and scalping
- HFT bots are prohibited. On a funded account, more than 50% of your trades and profits must come from positions held for over 10 seconds.
- Automated bots and EAs
- You can trade with algorithms as long as the strategy belongs solely to you, remains unshared, and doesn’t involve high-frequency trading.
- Limit on accounts
- You can’t hold more than 5 active sim funded accounts at any time. During each 30-day period, you may take no more than 15 Select evaluations.
- Weekend and overnight
- You can’t hold positions overnight. The 4:45 (PM ET) deadline requires you to close all positions each trading day.
- Inactivity
- Evaluation and funded accounts require at least 1 trade each week on weekdays.
