Trading rules for Alpha Futures
- Drawdown
- Each plan carries a trailing Maximum Loss Limit, set at the end of every day based on the highest end-of-day balance. Once the starting balance is reached, trailing stops.
- The consistency rule
- Zero evaluations have no consistency rule. For Standard the figure is 50%, and Advanced 40% applies too. On a Qualified account, Zero and Standard use a 40% rule, Direct 20%, and Advanced has none.
- Trading on news
- No news restrictions apply to Evaluations or Advanced Qualified accounts. If you trade a Zero, Standard or Direct Qualified account, you may not place an order in the two minutes before or after high-impact news.
- Copying trades
- You may copy trades that come from your own external account. Copying another analyst's trades isn't allowed.
- Limits on accounts
- A household may keep up to 3 Qualified accounts, and their combined total can go as high as $450,000. Running more than one evaluation is allowed.
